oh seems very suspicious to see the barbie movie tumblr pop up on my dash after the strike. maybe it was made before, but I’m actually seeing it now
remember:
there’s no boycott on going to see new media
but there is a promotional blackout
don’t do the studio’s marketing work for them
I just checked their archive. They created it Today, July 17th.
prior to the strike they did not have an official tumblr lmaoooo
don’t reblog their shit
The promotional blackout only includes SAG-AFTRA members and influencers. People who are not actors and do not plan to enter the acting industry do not need to participate and are actually discouraged from participating. Going to movies made pre-strike is helpful to the unions, because it shows companies that the jobs of writers and actors are important.
Non-union members are recommended to continue seeing movies they want to see and avoiding movies they don’t, as normal. When the quality inevitably drops and the criticism and profit drops roll in it will signal to the corporations how writers and actors are crucial to making successful movies.
So please do not spread misinformation; there is not a boycott and the blackout only applies to union members and aspiring actors.
Autism: I need this specific routine to be followed for me to be in peace and working
ADHD: I need extreme flexibility and opportunity to work on what i want in different days
AuDHD: Okay, so, i need… A general routine, like, okay, i cannot funcition without a routine, right?, But after two (2) days, i cannot function with this specific routine, i need a little change, but if it’s too much change i will literally cry right NOW
the thing is this dashboard change isnt the end of the world ill get used to it whatever im just fucking dying of embarrassment that its supposed to look like twitter
twitter gets run over by a bus and the next day tumblr comes 2 school wearing her clothes like. oh my god come on
In the wake of the dual strike I would like to remind everyone that “hollywood elites” is an antisemitic dogwhistle and if you are referring to company executives call them executives
